ARCHITECTURAL MODELS FOR EVENTS

Beautiful, illuminated and stylish model, created for great impact. Taking the architectural model from being purely representative to being an artwork in itself.
These models utilise many different finishes, materials and lighting effects. Cold cathodes, L.E.D. and fibre-optics breath a shimmering life into the buildings, which are effectively built around the lighting as opposed to having the lighting fitted in.

THE LIVERPOOL CITY MODEL

Originally created in the late 1950's Static Models and now Studioscope have the privilege of carrying on the up keep and updating of this wonderful resource.
Measuring 5 m x 4 m, covering 5 square kilometres of the city centre at a scale of 1:500. There are around 3500 separate blocks making up the model. The models underwent its biggest ever change in 2005, with a brand new, 8 section high-tech base of epoxy GRP mounted on a lightweight aluminium frame. Given this new lease of life the model is now playing an important part in many major planning decisions. We will continue to look after the model in co-operation with Liverpool Vision and Liverpool City Council, and will be introducing lighting to the model before too long.
