MODEL MAKING
We have been producing high quality architectural models for over 10 years as a business and over 18 years individually, covering all types from rapid turnover planning models to highly detailed, fully coloured and illuminated marketing models. Landscape models, sectional models, wood veneer models, interactive concept models and stylised 'artistic' models can be created in any scale or material.
We can produce beautifully detailed models of any size, complete with type specific trees if required. These models can have removable, replaceable sections to show alternative schemes, or can have blanked sections for use by the architect when designing within the context.
Models need not be fully detailed and colour matched however. Stylised and artistic models, used both for planning purposes and for exhibition work can prove a major selling point and will remain a stunning object in itself for later display. Some wonderful results can be achieved using apparently simple monochrome white models or even models constructed entirely from clear and frosted materials. We have recently produced a number of stunning models in which the key buildings have been made of solid polished acrylic, producing a beautiful crystalline effect.
ILLUMINATED MODELS Using expertise gained in the field of film visual effects and models, we can bring a wonderful quality to models through the extensive use of interior lighting, including moving light effects, switched area lighting (apartment by apartment etc) and zonal/area use lighting effects. From the highly complex..........
...........to the relatively simple, although still very effective illuminated models.
Road Traffic Accident Models Recently we undertook the production of a few special, interactive, scenic models for use by the Merseyside Traffic Police in the training of new investigating officers. Taking real accident scenarios, we have created multi-scale models complete with all road layouts, detailing, buildings and vehicles. These model are viewed through 'eyewitness' miniature cameras giving a unique perspective to the officer training program
